Early Spring in Estonia - Client Comment

Our bird-guide Mati Kose spotted a Lynx together with our clients:
“It has altogether been a luxuriant week here in the South-Western Pärnumaa County in the sense of mammals: two days ago (07.04) we spotted a Lynx together with the birders from Great Britain. A day before we saw a fresh track of a large Bear. Two times two Elks, a Raccoon Dog, Roe deer, Foxes, a Grey Hare, tracks of Pine Martens, Stoats and numerous rodents, including a Beaver. Today in the morning it was fabulous to read from the trackbook of the pure white snow that an Otter had come out from the river and wallowed on the forest trail. It was obviously enjoying the sunshine and the Spring ;)”

Client comment: “Our trip was very good and we all enjoyed it. It was a shame we did see any Owls but no matter. The guides were all very good and tried as hard as possible with both Woodpeckers and Owls but the weather was not great especially in Pärnu. All the guides were very prompt and very helpful nice guys. We saw 2 Steller's Eider at Tallinn very close and also 200 on the island. I know that I and one other on the trip want to come back to Estonia again maybe in late spring/early summer next time. A very beautiful and friendly country! Great food too!” C.J. / April 2012
